Situated between the mountains of the Lake District and the Solway coast, Packice is home to “all around” Alaskan Malamutes. We currently own 5 Alaskan Malamutes. They are Dash, Breezer, Kia, and our two new additions from the U.S, Twisp and Leader. We also own a Shiba Inu (Koi), and a cat (Wowy). All live together with us our in house, well apart from Wowy who prefers his own little house in the yard. Our interest in Malamutes started back in the late 90’s. We had owned big dogs before a Rottweiler, and also had Shiba Inus, whose independent/stubborn streak is not too dissimilar to that of the Malamute. Our first Malamute, Breezer, came home to us in summer 2003 from our good friends Kay & John at Cinneli kennels, and changed our lives forever. In 2010 we went over to visit Sue and Roy Fuller at Mountain Home Alaskan Malamutes, Twisp, WA. Their dogs have everything we look for in a Malamute, soundness, super conformation, working ability and attitude, fantastic temperament, and of course good looks. In March 2011, the pups boarded a 9 hour flight from Seattle to join our pack. Two spectacular additions to Packice Alaskan Malamutes Our lives revolve around our dogs, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We even purchased 4 acres of land and converted part of it into secure enclosed paddocks as a playground for them! During the winter months we run them in harness & compete at weight pulls. Come springtime and autumn, we go backpacking and camping. Through the summer months we attend conformation shows, and have fun agility runs up at the paddocks and get-togethers with our friends. We continue with obedience classes all year round too. We are extremely proud of our dogs and their achievements, and would like to thank their breeders for entrusting us with them. We hope you enjoy looking at our site. Ian Elliott & Aimee Campbell
